Late Triassic to Early Jurassic limestone of the Sitlika Assemblage was prospected in 1991.

In 1991, Noranda Mining and Exploration Inc conducted One day of mapping and soil sampling (6 samples) along a base line on the Lost Marble claims. Two outcrops of limestone with mudstone lenses were mapped and sampled (181532, 8.1 per cent calcium). An impure limestone 190 metes to the west (181535, 30.0 per cent calcium) also indicates potentially useful acid neutralizing rock.
